The articles were very different and interesting. I learned a lot from them. I chose the painting Luxe, Calme, et Volupte by Henri Matisse. I chose this painting because it is named perfectly and very colorful. The paintings name means luxury, calm and desire. I felt very calm when I viewed this painting for the first time. The way Matisse painted this with such great detail with a unique technique. The staccato brush strokes are amazing. The choice of color is to perfection.
