Edward Hopper

Girl at a Sewing Machine in 1921, Hopper's paintings of a women at the sewing machine by a window. I especially was intrigued by this painting because my grandmother is a painter and she has this painting in her home. I used to always look a this painting and not think about loneliness but I just like the realistic tone. It was cinematic for me, like she was about to pull up the dress to show her master piece. The tone and colors really make her an actual girl.
