After watching and listening to Genevieve Von Petzinger, I was amazed to see how far back in time the first signs of communication among human beings started. Before, I believed that the geometric symbols and markings were just simply paintings and drawings, not actual communication between people. This speaker showed how advanced humans have been even thousands of centuries ago.
The painting I enjoyed the most and found to have the most similarities with Genevieve Von Petzinger's lecture was the Fallen Angel by Jean Michel Basquait. In this painting the use of lines and geometric shapes convey a fascinating version and image of an angel. This painting uses the symbols, lines, and shapes that were shown in Genevieve Von Petzinger's lecture.
