I chose Wheat Field with Cypresses by van Gogh. This painting caught my eye as I was looking for a painting to speak about for this blog. I chose this painting because the technique is just amazing. The painting looks like it is three dimensional. The textures in this painting is what makes it look so realistic. The way the colors blend in the background makes the clouds stand out and makes the clouds look fluffy. I enjoyed the way the wheat was painted, you literally can see each stalk of wheat and you can tell it is being moved by the wind. The is very fascinating to me.
