Vincent van Gogh

While watching the movie clip on Vincent van Gogh, I enjoyed seeing the paintings he made and the contribution he made in his life to make his art better. Giving up your life to live with the poor and being fired from the church because he wouldn't be above the poor but part of the community. The painting I choose is a oil paining on canvas that he painted in 1886. It's called "Head of a skeleton with a burning cigarette," I liked this painting because it has a sense of realism and creative touch with the cigarette added. The lighting on the painting  has an effect of depth and seeing the skeleton as a 3D design rather than just a 2D image.
