Vincent van Gogh was a post-impressionist painter who is
well known for the use of emotion, color and beauty in his work. I chose the
painting Wheat Field with Cypresses. This is a simple painting but yet contains so much detail. I think he did a great job selecting the right colors for this painting. My favorite part of this painting is the sky. I love his choice of colors as well as the unique brushwork he used to really give the sky character.
