John Currin seems to be a very eccentric painter. His paintings portrays a lot sexual aspects and visual imperfections that makes him a unique painter.
I liked this oil on canvas painting called Hot Pants that was made in 2010. It is interesting because the tones in this painting make them look alive and in action. You can see what the man see's of himself in the mirror, which is a cooler man with pants that make him look hot. Meanwhile he actually looks nerdy.
