I missed the film last Tuesday of Van Gogh, but a few of my friends told me what it was about. But from previous art classes I have taken, I have a little knowledge of Van Gogh. Vincent Van Gogh was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. This painting is called Almond Blossoms and was painted in 1890. I really like this painting because it is very simple and elegant and the colors compliment each other very well. It so different from Starry Night which is so busy.
