Michaelangelo

What I learned from the short film about Michaelangelo is that he had a very dark side to him and expressed that greatly throughout his artwork. His work consisted of multiple self portraits with him being the center piece of the painting or in the background. A pattern I noticed in his work is the facial expressions varrying from sad, fearlful and dark. I chose this painting because of the facial expressions and the fine detail that makes it look so realistic.
