Caravaggio

After watching the segment in the short film of Michelangelo Caravaggio I learned how much light and dark colors affect a painting. I learned that Michelangelo was a very dark person; this portrayed in his paintings. I chose the painting above because it was different than most of his paintings. The background is plain and the details lie between the fruits. This painting shows the aspects of life and death. The dark shades represents death and the light colors represent life.
