After watching
a short part of the film in class about Michaelangelo Caravaggio, it is obvious
to me that he was a very talented painter. He was known for his talent of
painting his subjects as the eye sees them free handed without having to draw
them first. In addition he portrayed their natural flaws and defects as
idealized creations. The picture I chose is an example of how he allows natural
flaws and defects to be portrayed in his paintings.
