The painting above is painted by Caravaggio. I chose this painting because I like how he portrays light and dark. It shows the depth of the fruits and makes them look more realistic. I feel it will be challenging but a great learning experience. I am not sure yet if I will just paint one fruit or this exact picture above. If I just paint one fruit I will use light and dark, also showing the contrast. This will be my attempt to use Caravaggio technique.
