I really enjoyed working on the self-portrait project that had us in a weird view of our faces and I wanted to work on a picture of my baby cousin. I will be making a acrylic painting portrait of her probably just like the image above. I thought this would also connect to the Mona Lisa oil on canvas because I want to use the lighting to define my cousin's beautiful features and make it more realistic. It also reminded me of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa because my creation will be on someone no one has seen before.
