Independent Painting

For my midterm independent painting I really wanted to do something very different than what we have been in class. I was inspired by Andy Warhol for my painting. The use of bright colors in contrast with the black and white really struck out to me. Since I love to listen to music and it is a huge part of my life, I decided to use Warhol's style from his Marilyn Monroe Diptych painting and paint a person wearing headphones. Hopefully I will be able to use the colors and style correctly to make this project amazing.
